Ending weeks of speculation, Swedish footballer Zlatan Ibrahimovic has announced that he will play for Manchester United in the Premier League next season.
The 34-year-old, who was a free agent after ending a hugely successful stint with Paris Saint-Germain, will fly to United Kingdom on Friday to sign a one-year deal with the Old Trafford club, the Guardian reported.
Confirming the news, Ibrahimovic wrote on Instagram: "Time to let the world know. My next destination is @manchesterunited #iamcoming."
Ibrahimovic, who won four Ligue 1 titles in his four years at PSG, had previously worked with United manager Jose Mourinho at Internazionale in 2008-09.
Ibrahimovic will be Mourinho's second signing after the latter brought in Villarreal's Ivory Coast defender Eric Bailly.
