The International Cricket Council (ICC) has fined Pakistan's skipper Misbah-ul-Haq 15 percent of his match fee for expressing dissent at an Umpire's decision during the second ODI international against New Zealand in Sharjah.
Misbah was fined on account of breaching the ICC Code of conduct for a level 1 Article 2.1.3 offence, which relates to "Showing dissent at an Umpire's decision during an International Match," the Dawn reported.
The skipper expressed his displeasure after TV Umpire Joel Wilson upheld on-field umpire Richard Illingworth's decision to give him caught behind off Matt Henry in the 37th over.
Kiwis have levelled the five match ODI series at 1-1, with third match scheduled to be played in Sharjah on Sunday.
