1965 Chrysler Imperial car used in 2011 movie version of 'The Green Hornet' is up for auction at 34,529 dollars, it has been revealed.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the Black Beauty modified by Dennis McCarthy is equipped with its original 413-cubic-inch V8 engine and has 71.421 miles on the odometer.
According to Bobby Livingston of RR Auctions, the car was one of 29 custom-built for the production, most of them stripped-down stunt models that were destroyed during filming.
McCarthy modified the stock Imperial with lime-green headlights, two hood-mounted Browning. Thirty caliber machine guns that simulated gunfire by firing bursts of propane were used along with four arrays of Stinger missiles beneath the front and back bumpers, a revolving license plate that rotated to Hornet.
