The iconic dress worn in the best-selling poster of tennis history is up for auction 38 years after it was used in the photoshoot.
The Athena tennis girl poster that featured model Fiona Butler sold more than two million copies where Butler was clicked walking towards the net on a tennis court bathed in sunlight, hitching up the hem to reveal a bare backside, the Daily Express reported.
The dress, racket and two posters are expected to fetch 2,000 pounds when they are auctioned on women's finals day at Wimbledon.
The photo was taken on a court at Birmingham University in 1976.
