Idina Menzel had the performed live version of US national anthem before the NFL Super Bowl XLIX football game in Glendale, Arizona.
The 43-year-old 'Frozen' star, who oozed confidence in an all black attir and and tweeted "Send me good vibes" before the gig, yelled "Yes!" in excitement after she sang the last note, CBS News reported.
The star received praises for her act on Twitter, with United States Senator, Cory Booker, writing "So beautiful. Thank you Idina Menzel," actor Chris Colfer saying that he felt "proud," and Xian Satirist writing "I was gonna complain about @idinamenzel not hitting the high note of the National Anthem but I decided to let it go."
The Tony-winning star had recently faced criticized for her performance of "Let It Go" at Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve', but her gig seems to have fans forget it all.
The evening also saw John Legend performing 'America the Beautiful, which brought the soul as hit all the right notes while playing piano before the Seattle Seahawks vs New England Patriots game.
