The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has announced that limited overs skipper Eoin Morgan and fast bowler Mark Wood have been granted central contracts for the 2015-16 international cricket season.
Twenty-five-year-old Wood has won a central contract for the first time after his impressive season, while Morgan has joined an 11-strong list, featuring Test skipper Alastair Cook, Moeen Ali, James Anderson, Ian Bell, Stuart Broad, Jos Buttler, Steven Finn, Joe Root and Ben Stokes.

ECB director Andrew Strauss congratulated Wood on winning his first central contract and added that the award reflects his excellent performances for England this summer.
Meanwhile, Strauss said that Morgan's award reflects his status as captain of the limited overs teams and the importance they place on white-ball cricket ahead of their busy schedule of T20 and one-day international cricket over the next twelve months.

Besides 11 central contracts, the ECB has also awarded eight incremental contracts.Gary Ballance, Chris Jordan and Chris Woakes are some of the players who have been granted incremental contact for 2015-16.
