"The area is on border near fencing. The army and administration arranged food items, electricity, shelter and other things for us. People are helpless as the houses are not safe now as the land has caved in," said a resident, Mohammad Sadiq.
Meanwhile, another resident Omar Wani urged the government to provide shelters or land.
"The government must give us some shelter or plot to live since we have nowhere to go. We are also Indians. We live on border areas. We have no other support system," said Wani.
