Describing Mumbai as an 'inclusive' city, the chairman of the Mumbai unit of the Observer Research Foundation (ORF), Sudheendra Kulkarni, on Monday said that the city stands for Indo-Pak peace.

"We won't let Shiv Sena destroy Mumbai's values. Mumbai is an inclusive city. It stands for India-Pakistan dialogue for peace, this function in spite of threats, is vouching for that," Kulkarni said at the launch of a book authored by former Pakistan foreign minister Khurshid M Kasuri here.

"It is our duty to undo the mistakes of the past. We should not let any organisation mar the values of Mumbai," he added.

Kulkarni further said that every Pakistani is not anti-India and the situation in Pakistan is changing where the people there now want peace.

"New history can only be created via dialogue, two governments must continue dialogue. Our function is an effort in that direction of having such constructive dialogue," he added.
