India and Croatia on Monday signed two agreements to facilitate cultural exchange and diplomatic cooperation.

The agreements were signed and exchanged by External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and her Croatian counterpart Marija Pejcinovic Buric.

The two leaders discussed stepping up cooperation in political, trade and investment, health and pharmaceuticals, science and technology, tourism and culture. They also exchanged views on multilateral cooperation.

Buric, who is on a one-day visit to India, is the first Croatian foreign minister to visit the country after 17 years.
