India lead by 100 runs as Tendulkar departs for 74 in second Test against WI

India has lost the wicket of Sachin Tendulkar before lunch in the second Test against the West Indies but has taken an impressive 100-run lead with seven wickets remaining in their first innings.

They are currently cruising at 282/3 with Virat Kohli unbeaten on 36 and Cheteshwar Pujara in a strong position at 85 not out.

The crowd fell into a long silence as opposition captain Darren Sammy caught Tendulkar (74) while he was facing Narsingh Deonarine.

Rohit Sharma is next in the order.
