India and Nepal will have a joint commission meeting at the end of this month in New Delhi to discuss the expedite implementation of all ongoing projects between both countries.

The agreements were reached between both the countries in the Bi-lateral meeting of BRICS-BIMSTEC Outreach Summit held in Goa.

"India and Nepal has agreed to expedite implementation of all ongoing projects particularly in the developmental and energy sectors and also the community based projects," said the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) official spokesperson Vikas Swarup.

"The next meeting of India-Nepal joint commission will be held in New Delhi later this month to review comprehensively all aspects of the bilateral cooperation," he added.

Swarup also said that Prime Minister of Nepal Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' also shared Nepal's effort to form broad consciences from the Himal Pahar to the Madhesi region in the summit.

He further said that Dahal also raised the concern of Nepal on anti-dumping investigation on jute products.

In September, India and Nepal signed three agreements, including new dollar credit line agreement of USD 750 million for post-earthquake reconstruction.

The other two agreements include an MoU for project management consultancy services for upgradation/improvement of road infrastructure in Tarai of Nepal and first amendatory dollar credit line for post-earthquake reconstruction projects in Nepal.
