India have won the toss and elected to field first in the fifth and final one-day international against Australia at the Sydney Cricket Ground on Saturday.

Batsman Manish Pandey replaced Ajinkya Rahane, who split the webbing in his right hand during the fourth match of the series in Canberra, while debutant Jasprit Bumrah was selected in place of fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

Meanwhile, Australia have rested Glenn Maxwell, who is still sore after he was struck on the knee while batting at Manuka Oval.

The Mahendra Singh Dhoni-led side are trailing 0-4 in the five match series and will aim to avoid a whitewash before the start of the three-match T20 series.
