India have reached 60 for one at lunch on the opening day of the fourth and final Test match against South Africa here at Feroz Shah Kotla stadium on Thursday.

Opting to bat first, India started slowly on a pitch, which offered some inconsistent bounce. The hosts lost opener Murali Vijay for 12 off Dane Piedt's off-spin delivery.

Shikhar Dhawan and Cheteshwar Pujara then steadied the innings as the duo remained unbeaten on their respective scores of 31 and 14.

India took an unassailable 2-0 lead in the four-match series after comprehensively defeating the tourists by 124 runs in the third Test. With the win, India also ended South Africa's nine-year winning streak in away Test series.
