India's Acts must have minimum grey areas: PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday called for the nation's Acts to have minimal grey areas, adding that such a move would enable the judiciary to make quicker decisions.

The official twitter handle of the Prime Minister's Office shared Prime Minister Modi's thoughts on the same, during the 150th anniversary celebrations of the Advocates' Association of Western India, via a series of tweets.

"A Bar Association completing 150 years is a very big thing: PM Narendra Modi in Mumbai."

"Those from legal profession and those from the sphere of education contributed a lot in our freedom struggle: PM @narendramodi in Mumbai"

"Yes, we talk about quick justice but how can we focus on quality justice. Here lawyers play a very important role: PM Narendra Modi"

 

"Our Acts must have minimum grey areas and this will make the judiciary take decisions quicker: PM @narendramodi"

Earlier this week, the Advocates' Association of Western India, which is the oldest Bar Association in India, completed 150 years.
