India successfully tested its long range nuclear-capable surface-to-surface Agni-IV missile on Monday.
Media reports said the missile was tested from a mobile launcher off Wheeler Island near Dhamra in Odisha's Bhadrak District, which is about 200-kilomters from state capital Bhubaneswar.
The 20-meter tall missile, which weighed around 17 tons and has two stages of solid propulsion, can strike targets at a distance of about 4000 kilometers.
