After a complete washout on Day two, the rain gods continue to remain angry as incessant rain has once again forced a delay to the start of the play on the third day of the second Test between India and South Africa here at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium here.
Due to continuous drizzling and wet outfield, the umpires have taken an early decision to suspend the play till lunch.
Earlier on Day one, replying to the South Africa's first inning score of 214, Indian openers put the hosts in a commanding 80-0 at stumps.
The hosts will aim to score a large first-innings total when Murali Vijay and Shikhar Dhawan will resume the innings on their respective unbeaten score 28 and 45 on the third day.
