Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday said India will provide full support to the quake-hit Himalayan nation after it experienced another massive tremor a short while ago.
"I heard the news right now, but there is no need to panic. India will provide full support to Nepal wherever required," Rajnath Singh told media.
Immediately after the quake, the minister tweeted about it.
"News of an earthquake hitting Nepal again has come. Several parts of India also felt the tremors. MHA is collecting more details and info," he wrote.
Nepal was hit by an earthquake measuring 7.3 on the Richter scale, which was followed by an aftershock measuring 5.6 on the Richter scale. They occurred a fortnight after a quake had claimed over 7000 lives and devastated the Himalayan nation.
