Mahendra Singh Dhoni's side have won the toss and elected to field first in the third ODI of the five-match series against New Zealand at the Punjab Cricket Association Stadium here on Sunday.

As far as Playing XI is concerned, India is going with the same team that suffered a six-run defeat in the second ODI in Delhi.

Meanwhile, the visitors have made one change in the squad. James Neesham has been brought in to replace Anton Devcich.

After winning the toss, Dhoni said, "This is one venue where if you get dew, you get a fair amount of it. It looks like a good team, looks complete, and we want to give a few players the chances to prove themselves and that's the reason we are sticking with the same them."

New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson, on the other hand, said as there is a possibility of dew, his side's top-order need to score good runs.

"I had mixed it up [between heads and tails], after losing five or six in a row. India seem to really know what they've doing when they're flicking it.It was a nice feeling to win, and more importantly we showed improvement. We'll have to assess a good score with the top order with the possibility of dew," Williamson said.

The five-match series is currently levelled at 1-1 and India need to win the series by 4-1 or better to claim the third position in the ICC ODI team rankings.

India Playing XI: Rohit Sharma, Ajinkya Rahane, Virat Kohli, Manish Pandey, MS Dhoni(W/C), Kedar Jadhav, Hardik Pandya, Axar Patel, Amit Mishra, Umesh Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah.

New Zealand Playing XI: Martin Guptill, Tom Latham, Kane Williamson(C), Ross Taylor, Corey Anderson, Luke Ronchi(W), James Neesham, Mitchell Santner, Tim Southee, Matt Henry, Trent Boult.
