According to reports, at least 310 pilgrims have died and 450 wounded in a stampede during Haj pilgrimage in Mina in Saudi Arabia.

The stampede occurred during the devil-stoning ritual where pilgrims throw pebbles at three walls in Mina.

Today was the last day of the pilgrimage and it has traditionally been the most dangerous day of Hajj because vast numbers of pilgrims attempt to perform rituals at the same time in a single location.
