Security expert Praful Bakshi on Thursday said Indian intelligence agencies should constantly and consistently monitor prime Mumbai terror blasts accused Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi's next move following his release from jail on the orders of the Lahore High Court.

"The attention should be on him and Indian intelligence services should constantly monitor his next move, as that is going to be a very serious thing," Bakshi told ANI here.

"The right thinking nations must warn Pakistan, they should warn them and realign their thinking," he added.

Bakshi asserted that until and unless we have a strong standing or strong evidence against him, he cannot be put to trial to put to charge.

Earlier in the day, Lahore High Court (LHC) struck down the detention order of Lakhvi and ordered his release.

The court was hearing a petition filed by Lakhvi challenging his fourth one-month detention ordered by the Okara DCO on March 14, reported the Dawn.

The news came a day after LHC asked the Punjab government to present "sensitive" documents regarding Lakhvi's activities, the government had earlier argued that Lakhvi had been kept in custody on the basis of "'sensitive information" provided by intelligence agencies.

However, after examining the "sensitive information," the court dismissed the detention order saying that if the information was reliable then, the Islamabad High Court would not have accepted Lakhvi's bail.

The court therefore, ordered his release based on the lack of reliability of the sensitive information provided and also directed the accused to pay 20 lakh rupees in surety bonds to Adiala jail.

Lakhvi is among seven people charged with planning and carrying out the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks.

Meanwhile, Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju said that the Home Ministry's stand on Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi is very clear.

"We maintain our stand that Pakistan authorities and Investigation agencies must give all evidence to court and sincerely present the case," said Rijiju.
