the 13-year-old Indian-origin boy from US, who has recently won the National Geographic Bee, has said that he wants to be a doctor when he grows up.

Akhil Rekulapelli, from Sterling, Virginia, who wants to attend Stanford University, said that he probably wants to be the head of a department at a hospital and will try to graduate at the top of his class, ABC News reported.

The eighth-grader outlasted nine other finalists and answered all three questions correctly in a one-on-one showdown with his youngest rival, 11-year-old Ameya Mujumdar, of Tampa, Florida.
