A Tibetan medical camp drew huge crowds here, as they clamoured for traditional medicines to heal various ailments, without exposing themselves to negative side effects.
The Tibetan Medical College and the Tibetan Medical and Astrological Institute (Men-Tsee Khang) organised the camp as a part of the outreach programme of the Tibetan Traditional Medicine Centre.
Dr. Tamding, ane xpert in the application of Tibetan medicine, said: "It's quite important everywhere, not only in Shimla, in every place and every world. The contribution of the Tibetan medicine is so good and so effective, because the medicines we are using are very natural, non-chemical and non-antibiotic. There are no side effects. Every application is just to root out the disease."
Tibetan Prime Minister-in-Exile, Lobsang Sangay inaugurated the camp.
Sangay and Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh visited the different stalls over the weekend.
