"We had a very engaging dialogue, which I believe would result in more flow of technology to India and possibly also investment coming to India. I have made two requests for the innovators- they should look at improvement in the efficiency of solar equipments, so that gradually we can have more energy coming out of every piece of solar energy equipment," Goyal said while speaking at the India-Australia energy dialogue here.

"I have also suggested that, considering a lot of land area is required to set up renewable energy, particularly solar plants, can we look at improvements in technology so that lesser land is required for solar equipment to be set up. I have also suggested better quality of forecasting of the power that is generated by the solar equipment," he added.
