Indrani Mukherjea, an accused in her daughter Sheena Bora's murder case, is said to be out of danger now.

T.P Lahane, the dean of J.J Hospital, today said Indrani is conscious now.

"She is responding to oral commands. We have given her water to drink. We will observe her for the next 24 to 30 hours and then after consulting her physician we will take a call on her discharge. She is out of danger now," Lahane told the media here.

"We treated her on the basis of the clinical findings and she has responded and she is conscious and the forensic reports are authentic," he added.

Lahane had earlier said that a report on Indrani's urine samples from Hinduja Hospital laboratory confirmed that level of benzodiazepine - an anti-depressant - was found to be raised.

Indrani was admitted to the J. J. Hospital with initial complaints of chest pain after she allegedly had an overdose of pills and her condition was declared to be serious.
