Congress leader Kapil Sibal on Friday alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is an 'inexperienced' person having no idea of how to deal with economics and crisis.
"There have been 700 suicides in Marathwada, 1800 suicides in Vidharba. So, Fadnavis like Modi ji is totally inexperienced. In fact, this is going to be our main attack on the Prime Minister that he is an inexperienced person," said Sibal.
"He has no idea how to deal with economics and crisis, both in the economy and in the diplomacy. He does not know what to do with Pakistan. Sometimes he embraces Nawaz Sharif, sometimes he says 'I don't want to talk to you'," he added.
All schools in Chandigarh today remained closed due to Prime Minister Modi's visit. According to reports, the cremation ground in Sector 25 was converted into a makeshift parking lot during his visit.
Sibal also took a jibe at the BJP-led state governments over the decision to ban meat and beef, calling them acts of 'fascism'.
"There's a ban on everything, from what I speak, what I wear, what I drink to what I eat. Fascism starts at the top and goes down the line. What else is fascism, that you go to Chandigarh and cancel the exams? What else is fascism, that you close 187 schools?" he asked.
Four BJP-led states have enforced a ban on meat in view of the Jain festival of Paryushan. It started with Mumbai, followed by Rajasthan and Jammu and Kashmir. Chhattisgarh was the fourth state to enforce meat ban today.
