ANI Amritsar (Punjab) [India]

The Border Security Force (BSF) 73 Battalion gunned down a Pakistani infiltrator, who was trying to cross over into the Indian side of the border in Punjab.

The incident took place last night in Amritsar's Ajnala.

The security forces are further investigating the matter.

In March, another Pakistani national was shot dead by the BSF near the India-Pakistan border in Gurdaspur sector of Punjab.

The man had crossed the border fence to enter into the Indian territory.
