'Injured' Neymar's 'WC champion' dream not over yet

Brazilian striker Neymar has said that his dream of being a world champion is not yet over after the ace footballer was ruled out of the rest of the FIFA World Cup due to a back injury.

Neymar fractured a vertebra in his spine after being kneed in the back by Juan Zuniga during Brazil's 2-1 quarterfinal win over Colombia.

According to the BBC, Neymar said that his dream was interrupted, but it continues.

The 22-year-old also said that he is certain that his teammates would do everything so his dream, which is to be a champion, comes true.

The Barcelona player added that his dream was also to play in a World Cup final, but this time it did not work out.

 

The hosts' will face Germany in a semifinal clash for a place in the World Cup final.

Neymar said that he is sure Brazil would win this World Cup and be champions and he would be with the squad and all Brazilians would soon be celebrating all of that.
