Real Madrid star striker Cristiano Ronaldo has been ruled out for his side's upcoming La Liga clash against Eibar due to a muscular problem.
Confirming the news, Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane said the Portuguese international has been struggling with injury and, therefore, he also missed the recent training session.
"Ronaldo is feeling some muscular problems. That's why he has not trained with us. The games are all important but the most important thing is that the player is well. We'll see what we're going to do with Cristiano," the Mirror quoted Zidane as saying.
In their last clash, Ronaldo rescued Madrid against Las Palmas, scoring a brace to earn a 3-3 comeback.
Meanwhile, Madrid will also be without Gareth Bale, who was handed a two-match suspension for pushing Jonathan Viera to the ground during the same clash.
Madrid are now on the longest scoring streak ever by a La Liga side, thus beating the previous record held by Barcelona at 44 games.
The Zidane-led side, who are standing second in the La Liga table, will lock horns with Eibar on March 4.
