England all-rounder Chris Woakes, who has been suffering from a thigh injury, has been ruled out of the remaining one-day internationals of the five-match series against Australia.
Confirming the news, England Cricket posted on Twitter, "Chris Woakes has been ruled out of the final two Royal London ODIs against Australia with a right thigh injury."
The board added that Woakes is expected to be available for selection for the Test series against Pakistan.
Left-arm seamer Reece Topley or David Willey will be Woakes' probable replacements for the last two ODIs,Sport24 reported.
The hosts are now 1-2 in the series after claiming a 93-run victory over Australia in the third ODI at Old Trafford in Manchester.
The two sides will lock horns in the fourth ODI at Headingley on September 11.
