Instagram CEO backs nudity rules after Scout Willis' nipple ban protest

The photo sharing app, Instagram is defending its nudity rules after facing criticism for removing photos of topless women.

According to BBC, CEO Kevin Systrom said that its regulations were about making the social network safest possible place for teens and adults.

He made this comment after Bruce Willis' daughter, Scout Willis, protested against one of her photos being removed from Instagram, the report added.

Pop star, Rihanna also supported the campaign before closing her account.

Systrom said that their goal is to make Instagram a safe place, and content that gets posted should be appropriate for teens and adults.
