Intel agencies warn of Pak Taliban's brazen plans to carry out terror attacks in country

Pakistan intelligence agencies have warned the Sindh government that the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has prepared a massive terrorism plan in the city.

The Home Department, Sindh has been sent two separate secret reports by intelligence departments informing about the Pak Taliban's brazen plans.

In 1st report, it is said that extremists belonging to TTP's Hakimullah Mehsud group has prepared a big terrorism plan and suicide bombers will be used in their strategy.

They said that terrorist could potentially attack government buildings, installments and other sensitive sites.

According to the Nation, it also warned that extremists elements were involved in the terrorism incident in Kala Pani Majeed Colony located in Landhi Quaid Abad.

 

The 2nd report said that suicide bombers from Khyber Agency's Tirah area have headed to conduct terrorism acts in the areas of Sindh and Balochistan.

Targets of these terrorists could be important installments, government's property and offices of law enforcements departments.

In the light of the warning, Sindh has ordered police, Rangers and other law enforcement departments to take strict security measures in across the province, including Karachi.
