International Council of Jurists confers Ashok Chauhan of Amity with International Jurists Award-2014

The International Council of Jurists has honored Dr. Ashok K Chauhan, Founder President of Amity, with the prestigious "International Jurists Award-2014" in London for his unique contribution in the field of legal education of the country

Amity University Chancellor Atul Chauhan received the award on behalf of Dr. Ashok K Chauhan.

The award was presented by Mr. Justice Peter Tomka, President, International Court of Justice, in the presence of chief justices, ministers, judges, members of parliament, writers, authors, ambassadors and bar leaders from various countries.

Receiving the award, Mr. Atul Chauhan thanked the jury members for acknowledging and honoring the hard work and contribution of the Founder President in the legal profession of the country.

 

He opined, "Dr. Chauhan firmly believes in the brilliance and excellence of Indian lawyers and has been resolute to provide budding lawyers every possible opportunity and facility to brush their skills so that when they join the profession, they bring laurels to their Institution, to their country and to the Indian legal fraternity."
