Senior Congress leader P.C. Chacko on Saturday said intruding into Rahul Gandhi's privacy was completely unacceptable to the Congress Party.
"Intruding into the privacy of a citizen by the Delhi Police without any valid purpose, is highly unacceptable, and whoever has done this, and under whose instruction, we would like to know. If it is true, then the senior officer should explain what happened and who authorized them to come," Chacko told ANI.
"Rahulji is a MP, all the details are available on his website and there is nothing which is secret about Rahul Gandhi. He is such a known personality and every individual has the right to his privacy. His name is being unnecessarily dragged into controversy," he added.
Reportedly, a Delhi Police team visited the office of Rahul Gandhi and made queries about his physical features leaving the Congress baffled.
