The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Monday sought time to file a reply in a Delhi Court on the anticipatory bail plea of Karti Chidambaram's charted accountant S. Bhaskararaman, in connection with INX media money laundering case.
The Patiala House Court will hear the matter on March 26.
On March 9, a Delhi Court extended the judicial custody of Bhaskararaman by 14 days in regards to the same case.
Bhaskararaman, on February 28, had filed a bail plea in a Delhi court in connection with the said case.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) had arrested him in Delhi on February 16.

In May 2017, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) had registered a money laundering case against Karti for his role in facilitating FIPB clearance for INX Media Ltd and its directors, Peter and Indrani Mukerjea - both accused in the murder of Sheena Bora -and others.
Karti was arrested by the CBI at Chennai airport on February 28.
He illegally took service charges for getting the FIPB clearance to the INX Media for receiving funds from abroad worth Rs 305 crore in 2007 when his father was the finance minister in the Congress-led UPA Government.
