Iran's supreme leader condemns 'American Sniper' movie as anti-Muslim propaganda

Iran's supreme leader has condemned the movie "American Sniper" that shows a US soldier fighting in Iraq saying that it is an anti-Muslim propaganda that encourages offences against Muslims.

According to the New York Post, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said that he has not watched the film directed by Eastwood and starring Bradley Cooper but had heard about its plot.

The movie revolves around the life of US Navy SEAL marksman Chris Kyle, who is considered the most lethal sniper in American military history.

The comments by the supreme leader of Iran came amid negotiations between Iran and the West over the country's contested nuclear program.

 

He also discussed the condition of Muslims in the West saying that neo-Nazis were attacking Muslims in Germany.
