IRB Infra bags Rs 2,100-crore Rajasthan-Gujarat NHAI project

Toll road firm IRB Infrastructure Developers has received a contract worth Rs 2,100 crore from the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) for a six-lane project in Rajasthan and Gujarat.

In a company released statement, IRB said that it has emerged as a preferred bidder for the six-lane project from Udaipur to Rajasthan/ Gujarat border on section of NH-8 in Rajasthan and Gujarat.

"The Rs 2,100 crore project is to be developed on design, built, finance, operate and transfer (DBFOT) under the National Highways Development Programme (NHDP) phase V. The concession period for the project is 21 years including construction period of 910 days," added the statement.

 

It also mentioned IRB's construction order book to stand to around Rs. 10,000 crore, which would be executed in the next four years.

This will boost the company's construction order book visibility for the next three to four year.

With this project, the company will have 21 build-operate-transfer (BOT) road projects, out of which 13 projects are under operation.
