In a series of tweets,Consul General of the People's Republic of China in Kolkata, Ma Zhanwu on Wednesday said Beijing's position on the Kashmir issue is consistent and clear and it is irrelevant to link One Belt One Road with it.
Acknowledging India's concerns, Zhanwu said Kashmir is a bilateral dispute between India and Pakistan and it's up to them to negotiate.
He further added, "While Pakistan-Economic -Corridor is between Islamabad and Beijing and we suggest India no to drag Kashmir into it."
"The CPEC project is between China and Pakistan. As far as India and Pakistan dispute is concerned, we suggest them to overcome it with dialogues," Ma Zhanwu said.
Zhanwu reiterated in a tweet that a bilateral dialogue between New Delhi and Islamabad should be the way forward in resolving the Kashmir issue.
On Dalai Lama's Arunchal visit, Ma Zhanwu tweeted China has been opposing the Tibetan Leader's visit to disputed areas and had informed India too.

On the issue that India boycotted One Belt One Road summit, Zhanwu said "One Belt One Road forum was opened to all and its India who decided not to be a part of it . We have extended invitation to Indian leaders in China corridor."
The Counsul General of China even said that External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj was invited and Beijing still look forward to her visit to China in coming months or later.
