Bollywood stars Irrfan Khan and Kangna Ranaut are set to star in Indo-France co-production film 'Divine Lovers.'
The project, which has been put together by the French film commission, Film France, would be helmed by director Sai Kabir, and have a mixed crew of Indian and French technicians, the Hollywood Reporter reported.
The film would be produced by former Studio Canal and Pathe executive Leonard Glowinski, along with the 47-year-old 'Life of Pi' star, who would also be seen in upcoming 'Jurassic World' and Indian producer Shailesh R Singh.
Glowinski said that the it was appreciated that the film, which would center on the lower middle-class section of society in the heartland of India and would begin filming in March in the country, deals with complex subjects with a comic tone.
So far, there have been two films under the co-production namely 'Miral' (2011) and 'The Lunchbox (2013)' ever since India and France signed a revised co-production agreement during former President Nicholas Sarkozy's visit to India in December 2010.
