IS driven out of most of Syria's Kobane: Kurdish commander

As intensified United States-led air strikes pushed back the Islamic State (IS) militants from the Syrian town of Kobane, a Kurdish commander has reportedly said that the group has been driven out of most of the town.

Baharin Kandal said that the group has retreated from most of the areas except two pockets in the east, reported the BBC.
