IS executioner 'Jihadi John' injured in US-led coalition air strike in Iraq

The Islamic State (IS) executioner known by the name "Jihadi John," responsible for the beheading of at least two American and two British hostages, is believed to have been injured in a United States-led air strike in Iraq, a report said.

A nurse in Syria claimed to have treated the terrorist who also uses the name Jalman Al-Britani. According to The Washington Times, the militant was injured during a strike in western Iraq and then he drove into Syria.

The British Foreign Office said that it was still investigating the report.

Prime Minister David Cameron remarked that while he was anxiously waiting for the outcome of the internal investigation, he wanted "Jihadi John" to face justice for the "appalling acts" that he carried out in Syria.
