IS jihadists reportedly dread dying at the hands of women for they believe it will stop them from getting their 72 virgins in heaven.

Taking advantage of the IS fighters' fears, Kurdish security forces fighting the Islamic State militants have been recruiting all-women battalions.

Metro reports that woman have long fought in Kurdish peshmerga forces in northern Iraq and parts of Syria and female fighters say they believe they are a secret weapon to be used against IS militants.

A 27-year-old Kurdish fighter named Tekoshin reportedly said that the IS fighters were more afraid of women than the men.

Another woman Kurdish fighter told The Telegraph that the all-female battalion was being trained to use snipers, Kalashnikovs, rocket-propelled grenades and hand grenades to fight the IS militants.
