ISIS recruit from Kerala killed in Syria

A man from Kerala's Kannur district who joined the Islamic State (ISIS) in Syria was killed in November last year.

Kannur Deputy Superintendent of Police (SP) Sadanandan confirmed that family of Abdul Manaf, a 27 year old Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) activist got a message that he has been killed fighting for ISIS in Syria last year in November.

Manaf's family got the information about his death over what's app message.

The SDPI activist was also one of the accused in the murder of CPM worker Bineesh in 2009.
