The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has rejected news report stating that Pakistan purchased defence equipment from Israel.
The spokesman from ISPR said the report was misleading and not based on facts.
According to the Daily Times, a media report had revealed Israel exported military equipment, including hi-tech gear used in combat jets, over the past five years to Pakistan.
The report also claimed that Israel sold military equipment to Arab countries with which it has no diplomatic relations.
The report was released by Britain's Department for Business, Innovation and Skills, which deals with British government permits for arms and security equipment exports.
It claimed that besides Pakistan, Israel has exported military equipment to Egypt, Algeria, the United Arab Emirates and Morocco.
In 2010, Israel applied for permits to export electronic warfare systems and HUDs with British components to Pakistan, the Haaretz newspaper quoted the British government report as saying.
Israel also sold equipment to like the UAE, Morocco and Algeria, with which it does not have diplomatic ties, the report added.
