Bollywood star Deepika Padukone has said it's time for celebration as her recently released film 'Padmaavat' has become her highest grossing movie.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum-opus has raked in a whopping Rs. 236 cr., which is higher than Deepika's biggest box office grosser till date, 'Chennai Express'.
"I think the film deserves all the kind of love and the blessings that we are receiving. The box-office number are really a testament of that and it's not over," the 32-year-old said here on the sidelines of Volare Awards 2018.
Speaking about her co-stars Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor, the 'Bajirao Mastani' star said, "I think for me, Ranveer's contribution in the film as well as Shahid's contribution is something that I will always cherish. I think it was very gracious of them to give so much to this film and I am so happy that together we get to celebrate the success."
The event was organised by Consulate General of Italy, where Deepika received an award. She was accompanied by her 'Tamasha' director Imtiaz Ali and music maestro AR Rahman.
