An Italian organised crime boss, who had been convicted for more than 20 murders and had been on the run for 31 years, has finally been caught in Brazil.
According to media reports, Pasquale Scotti, a leading member of the Camorra, a Naples-based mafia style crime gang, ran away from an Italian hospital in 1984.
He was caught in the Brazilian city of Recife. Police said his fingerprints confirmed his identity. He will now be deported to Italy.
