Two terrorists of Hizbul Mujahideen were arrested by Jammu and Kashmir Police from Pulwama's Awantipora on Wednesday.
The police have recovered arms and ammunition from the Hizbul men. Further investigation is underway.
The arrest comes a day after two terrorists were killed while trying to infiltrate in the Keren sector of Kupwara district.
On Sunday, a terrorist was gunned down by police in Handwara town in the Kupwara district. He was later identified as a member of terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM).
As of November 6, security forces have gunned down as many as 200 terrorists this year in the state, with 30 neutralised in October alone.
