The Indian Army on Friday foiled a terrorist infiltration bid, neutralizing five militants near Jammu and Kashmir's Kanzalwan village in the Gurez sector.

Weapons including two AK-47 and rocket propelled grenade launchers were recovered from the terrorists.

The operation started on Thursday night where the Army gunned down two terrorists and began a search operation to smoke out the remaining militants, who were taken out today.

In another ceasefire violation in Poonch, an Indian Army soldier and a civilian were injured.
