Jamelia has apologized after saying on Loose Women that shops shouldn't stock plus-sized clothes for women but says she "stands by her comments."
The 34-year-old singer said that she didn't make it clear that she was talking about extremes, she was talking about above size 20 and below size six, those sizes being available, the BBC reported.
The 'Superstar' singer added that knowing that she offended people and made them question themselves and their choices, really did upset her but all she can do is apologize for that.
Jamelia, who is a real "woman with real opinions" and get paid to voice her opinions, added that it's been absolutely awful but this is her job and she believes people are all entitled to their opinion.
She noted that she genuinely loves people and believe everyone has the right to feel wonderful and feel beautiful and it was never her intention to make people feel any less than what they are.
She had earlier said that she believes High Street stores should be providing clothes above or below a healthy range to discourage people living an unhealthy lifestyle.
