James Earl Jones will receive the first ever 'Voice Icon Award' for his noteworthy voiceover career in the industry, it has been revealed.
The 83-year old actor known for voicing Darth Vader character in the 'Star Wars universe' as well as Mufasa from "The Lion King," New York Post reported.
The new award ceremony sponsored by the Society of Voice Arts and Sciences would recognize top tier voice talent from television, film, video games, commercials and audiobooks.
Jones would soon be honored with the award at the Museum of the Moving Image.
