James Franco seems to become an all rounder in the sphere of arts of entertainment, as he would be directing a play, 'The Long Shrift' for the first time.
The 36 year-old actor's first stage production directorial debut will be showcased at New York's Rattlestick Playwrights Theater for their 20th anniversary, Contactmusic reported.
The plot is based on a convicted rapist, who is also charged for sexually assaulting a teenage girl after releasing from the jail.
The cast will also include star Ahna O'Reilly, Brian Lally, Scott Haze, Allie Gallerani and Ally Sheedy.
